B&W Plumbing and Heating Co., Inc.
Beth Rovazzini is the President and owner of B&W Plumbing and Heating Company. The company was founded by Beth’s parents in their Eagledale garage in 1961. Upon her graduation from IU with an accounting degree, Beth began her career as a staff accountant at Arthur Anderson.
It didn’t take long for her to realize that she loved accounting, but not being a staff accountant. An opportunity for change presented itself soon after to run a struggling restaurant that her parents had invested in. She began managing with the intent to organize and sell it. The excitement and challenge involved in running a restaurant kept her busy and she continued there for 5 years. In 1988, the restaurant was sold and Beth made the jump to B&W, initially in an accounting role. As time passed, she gradually took on more of a leadership role in the company. As her parents began making plans for retirement, she along with 2 partners, purchased the business. Owning a small business is both a challenging and exhilarating process! Being a woman that owns a construction business is like being at the top of the roller coaster every day!
It is the human connection that matters most to Beth. The interaction with customers, staff and business associates is what brings her to work every day. The satisfaction of helping a customer solve a problem is like none she has ever experienced.
She is equally committed to her peers in business. She currently serves in the Programs Committee of NAWBO, where she’s been a member since 2003. She is also the Vice President of the Speedway Chamber of Commerce and on the Better Business Bureau’s Board of Directors.
