McDonald Transit Associates, Inc. is in the process of responding to the Request for Proposals for the City of Valparaiso, Indiana - Transit Service and Support.

In compliance with the City of Valparaiso's DBE program, McDonald Transit Associates, Inc. is actively seeking participation from Disadvantaged Business Enterprise/Minority Business Enterprise or Women Business Enterprise Firms to serve as subcontractors and/or suppliers if awarded the contract for the above mentioned service. DBEs must be certified by the Indiana Department of Transportation (preferred) or a similar certifying agency. MBEs or WBEs must be certified by the Indiana Department of Administration (preferred) or a similar certifying agency.

Examples of services and/or supplies include: drug and alcohol testing, office supplies, office equipment, payroll services, vehicle maintenance (vendors for tires, oils, fuel, parts, fluids and lubricants), uniform vendors, janitorial supplies, shop equipment, support vehicles, security services, etc.
