All awards listed below are specifically for NAWBO members.

WOMAN BUSINESS OWNERS OF THE YEAR
The Woman Business Owners of the Year Award recognizes an exemplary NAWBO member who is a demonstrated leader and role model within her business and the community. The nominee demonstrates her leadership skills by example, has achieved entrepreneurial success well beyond the standards of her industry, and has contributed significantly to the well-being of her community. This award honors a woman business owner whose means to give and desire to contribute come together in a powerful way that creates both a cycle of success and a legacy of generosity for the next generation.
• Eligibility: The nominee must be a NAWBO member who is not a sitting member of the National Board of Directors. The winner must agree to accept the award in person at NAWBO’s Women’s Business Conference.

MEMBER OF THE YEAR
One NAWBO member is honored for her outstanding commitment to the organization, her support of its mission and vision, and her work to promote the NAWBO brand within the business community. Key factors for this award category include demonstrated leadership skills that brought about innovative and effective organizational change and serving as a role model by mentoring and supporting women business owners at her local chapter and nationally.
• Eligibility: The nominee must be a NAWBO member who is not a sitting member of the National Board of Directors. The winner must agree to accept the award in person at NAWBO’s Women’s Business Conference.

CHAPTER CORPORATE PARTNER OF THE YEAR
Nominated by a local NAWBO chapter, a corporate partner and a key representative is recognized for their longstanding and proven commitment and financial support of a NAWBO chapter. The nominee must demonstrate that their company’s values and practice contribute directly to the growth and success of women-owned business at the local and/or state level; and their key representative has actively engaged with the local chapter to support women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres of power.
• Eligibility: The nominee must be an active Chapter Corporate Partner.  The winner must agree to accept the award in person at NAWBO’s Women’s Business Conference.

NAWBO/WELLS FARGO TRAILBLAZER AWARD
Three women entrepreneurs will receive this award for their trailblazing spirit as demonstrated by their companies' business performance, innovation and growth and contribution to the community. Each winning business will receive a cash grant of $5,000, gain nationwide recognition, and be honored at the NAWBO Women's Business Conference 2010 in Washington, D.C.

ENTERPRISING WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARD
Recipients of the award are women business owners who have been in business a minimum of three years and have demonstrated business growth, mentor and give back to other women in business, and are leaders in their communities. NAWBO members are encouraged to apply and spread the word about this award to their network of fellow women business owners. Nominees are judged in one of five revenue categories: businesses with up to $1 million in annual revenues; more than $1 million and up to $5 million in annual revenues; over $5 million and up to $10 million in annual revenues; over $10 million and up to $25 million in annual revenues; and over $25 million in annual revenues. Award winners and finalists are recognized during the annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration. The 2010 event is March 17-19, 2010 at the Marriott Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida. The gala awards dinner will be hosted on March 18. All honorees will also be featured in the Spring issue of Enterprising Women, the magazine for women business owners and NAWBO partner, with the winners appearing on the magazine's front cover.
