INDIANA COMMISSION FOR WOMEN
NAWBO-Indianapolis has partnered with the Indiana Commission for Women (ICW) to better improve the quality of lifestyle and business for women in Indiana. The ICW is committed to understanding the needs of Indiana women and their families, and working strategically both within government and in our communities to help bring about positive solutions. We work to remove the barriers that hinder women's participation by raising awareness of the status of women and the issues they face; recognizing and promoting the contributions that Hoosier women make to the State of Indiana and providing balanced analysis of public policy that impacts women in Indiana.
NATIONAL WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS CORPORATION
The National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) is a sister organization of NAWBO. The NWBOC network serves as a critical link for certification of women owned enterprises as private- and public-sector contractors and suppliers. The National Women Business Owners Corporation was established to increase competition for corporate and government contracts through implementation of a pioneering economic development strategy for women business owners. They provide a single, national certification for women business owners and they seek to increase the ability of women business owners to compete for corporate and government contracts.
SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Small Business Administration (SBA) works closely with NAWBO-Indianapolis providing numerous services to its members.
