In the fall of 2005 I attended my first Trailblazer's event and I was wowed by the crowd of almost 200 and the 5 inspirational women leaders that shared their experiences with us. I came back in December for the Holiday Luncheon expecting a handful of people and instead found the Mayor welcoming a group of over 500 energized business women and men and a wonderful program. I felt blown away, hair straight back from my head. Who are these women? I know what it takes to put on this type of spectacular event and these women business owners are volunteering their time with NAWBO on top of running successful businesses. I knew I had to get to know the group better and I have never looked back. I really enjoy my role as Treasurer with NAWBO. My time could not be spent with a better group of business women and Corporate Partners who challenge and energize and support me and my business.
